Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RPP) President Ravi Lamichhane was welcomed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday. He was welcomed by showering flowers on the premises of the Nepal Police Headquarters. <\/p>\n
He was welcomed by BJP president Nitin Naveen and other office-bearers. During the meeting, a team led by Lamichhane inspected the headquarters and held bilateral talks on further strengthening the relations between the two countries. <\/p>\n
The visit is aimed at initiating party-to-party engagement between the RSP and the BJP and provide an opportunity for exchange of ideas on organisational exercises, democratic process and people-centric political outreach. <\/p>\n
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) welcomed the delegation and said it was ready for a constructive dialogue. Earlier at 4 pm on Tuesday, BJP National President Nitin Naveen interacted with representatives of 12 countries as part of the ‘Know BJP’ initiative at the party headquarters. <\/p>\n
BJP’s foreign affairs in-charge Vijay Chauthaiwale was also present at the interaction. The BJP headquarters has also decided to host a dinner in the name of Lamichhane. <\/p>\n
Earlier on Saturday, BJP national president Nitin Naveen described the BJP’s journey as not just a story of expansion of a political party but also a journey of nationalism, cultural awareness, service, struggle and determination to ensure development to the last person in the society. (ANI)<\/p>\n
