Nuwakot. Rameshwor Gajurel, 25, has been elected the district president of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Nuwakot. He garnered 257 votes out of the 325 votes cast in the district convention held on Saturday, defeating his rivals by a wide margin. <\/p>\n
His nearest rival was his nearest rival Rajan Mahat who got 37 votes and Raju Lamichhane got 28 votes. Gajurel, who had taken charge of the ad-hoc leadership of the district at the age of 21, said that the party organization has already expanded to the ward and local levels. He also said that the election would be moved ahead by taking everyone on board as it was a technical matter. <\/p>\n
Krishna Lal Shrestha and Basanta Dhital have been elected vice-president and secretary respectively.
