Bir Hospital has issued a directive to compulsorily discharge resident doctors after 24 hours of duty. Issuing a circular, Bir Hospital has issued a circular to compulsorily discharge the residents (doctors) after the completion of the morning ward round. <\/p>\n<p>At present, trainee doctors, interns and residents are agitating with their various demands. As per the Nepal Labour Act, 2074 BS, a maximum of 12 hours a day and no more than 72 hours a week should be made mandatory as per the Nepal Labour Act, 2074 BS. <\/p>\n<p>They have also demanded that those working more than 48 hours a week should be provided overtime allowance as per the Labor Act. <\/p>\n<p>Bir Hospital has taken this decision keeping in mind the demand of resident doctors. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-73940\" src=\"https:\/\/arthakhabar. com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/719425512_994341430125585_316563977694624941_n_viJI11z0VN. jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1112\" height=\"1144\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"80\" data-end=\"161\">\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"80\" data-end=\"161\">\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1060\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
