Kathmandu. The Chure Rural Municipality of Kailali has provided Rs 50,000 to farmers involved in commercial buffalo rearing. The rural municipality has provided Rs 50,000 each as grant to the farmers to make them self-reliant by increasing the production of dairy products. <\/p>\n
According to Dharmaraj Bhatta, chief of the livestock section, the rural municipality has provided Rs 50,000 each to 10 buffalo farmers who have been rearing buffaloes in all six wards of the rural municipality. <\/p>\n
Similarly, the rural municipality has provided grants to farmers who have been rearing goats commercially. In the current fiscal year, the government has allocated Rs four lakh for grant to goat farmers and Rs five lakh for buffaloes. <\/p>\n
According to Bhatta, there should be at least 30 muwls for commercial firms, at least 30 muwls for the promotion of buffaloes, at least 30 for the farms for the goat promotion program and at least 200 for the group. <\/p>\n
Similarly, Chure Rural Municipality-6 distributed goats to 10 single women of the ward. Ward chair Prem Bahadur Saud said that the goats were distributed to 10 single women with the objective of easing the income of the poor and helpless women.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
