The first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has begun. The general convention has started at the &#8216;Guest House&#8217; ground in Bharatpur as per the pre-announced schedule. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Party President Rabi Lamichhane and Prime Minister and senior leader Balendra Shah were present at the inaugural ceremony.<\/p>\n<div>Similarly, office-bearers of the RSP, central leaders and general convention representatives were also present. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa, CPN-UML leader Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Nepali Communist Party leader Barsha Man Pun and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden attended the inaugural ceremony.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, Janamat Party Chairman Chandra Kanta Raut, among other leaders were present in the inaugural ceremony.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>As many as <\/p>\n<div>4,211 delegates will participate in the first national general convention of the Rastriya Samajbadi Party (RSP) in Chitwan, according to the party. A large number of leaders, cadres and well-wishers of the Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) from Chitwan and neighbouring districts have been present in the inaugural ceremony. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Party President Lamichhane and senior leader and Prime Minister Shah jointly inaugurated the general convention by ringing the bell.<\/p>\n<div><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu.
