Kathmandu. Diktel Rupakot Majhuwa Gadhi Municipality of Khotang district has allocated budget for the repatriation of monkeys after the monkeys fed the farmers while bringing their crops. The 15th municipal assembly has allocated budget for the management of crops in every ward and locality. <\/p>\n
In the budget for the coming fiscal year 2083\/84, a budget of Rs 4.5 million has been allocated to reduce the damage caused to crops by wild animals including monkeys.\u00a0Deputy Mayor Rai said the municipality has allocated a budget of Rs 1.01 billion for the fiscal year 2083\/84 giving first priority to agricultural production. <\/p>\n
He said that this process has been started with the objective of bringing the crops planted by the farmers in a safe way. <\/p>\n
He said, “This process has been adopted after the monkey started to complete the hard work of the farmers at once.” The budget has been allocated so that no farmer should face any problem and he can bring his sweaty crops safely. <\/p>\n
