The hearing on the writ petition filed by CPN (UML) vice-chair and former finance minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel at the Supreme Court is scheduled for June 30. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Poudel&#8217;s wife Domaya Poudel had filed a writ petition at the apex court on June 24 stating that Poudel was detained illegally.<\/p>\n<div>A single bench of Justice Shreekanta Poudel issued the order to seek a written response from the Office of the Attorney General on June 29 and conduct the hearing on June 30. <\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Poudel was arrested from Surkhet on June 22 on the charge of money laundering and was produced before the Special Court Kathmandu on June 22.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div> The Special Court has allowed him to be remanded in custody for seven days for further investigation.
