The government has decided to send a mechanized crane to resolve the disruption in power supply in Karnali.\u00a0The Ministry took the initiative of Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha to send the mechanical crane to Karnali state for maintenance of power supply and power disruption due to line tripping. <\/p>\n
Minister Shrestha, who visited the site two weeks ago in five districts of three provinces, had received information about the problem of frequent power outages in Karnali provinces including Surkhet due to line tripping and the lack of mechanical cranes required for maintenance work. The Chief of Nepal Electricity Authority, Karnali Province had drawn the attention of Minister Shrestha to this issue. <\/p>\n
Immediately after returning to Kathmandu, Minister Shrestha coordinated with the regulatory body to send a mechanical crane to resolve the power disruption. <\/p>\n
“The coordination to address this problem is now yielding results. Minister Shrestha said that the mechanical crane based at Nepal Electricity Authority’s Kharipati-based transformer workshop will be provided to Karnali Province after completion of necessary process and servicing. <\/p>\n
Minister Shrestha said that the service disruption would reduce the compulsion to import equipment from other provinces and the repair of electricity and service flow would be faster, easier and more effective. “Efforts are on to solve practical problems in the public service,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
