The forum brought together key stakeholders from Nepal’s food and beverage and hospitality sector to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation between Nepal and India.<\/p>\n

The event is a prelude to the upcoming Nepal-<\/p>\n
India Food and Beverages Forum 2026 to be held in India in the near future. <\/p>\n
The international exhibition will be held from September 11-13, 2026 at Girija Devi Sanskrit Complex, Varanasi, India. The event aims to inform about the upcoming expo and encourage Nepali entrepreneurs interested in expanding their presence in the Indian market.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kunal Kayal said that such programs have an important role in strengthening Nepal-India economic cooperation through food, beverage and hospitality sector. He also expressed confidence that such industry-focused forums will create significant opportunities for expanding business networks, enhancing market access, and developing cross-border partnerships with Indian stakeholders. On the occasion, Chairman of the House of Rajkarnikar, Birendra Rajkarnikar, introduced the House of Rajkarnikar and informed about the role of the organization and various initiatives for the promotion of trade and industry cooperation. Mr. Rajan Sharma gave an expert presentation on the objectives of the Nepal-India Trade Fair Exhibition, business opportunities, challenges that exhibitors should pay special attention to and the potential benefits that Nepali enterprises can reap in the upcoming exhibition in Varanasi. The forum witnessed significant participation from representatives of Nepal’s hotel, restaurant and catering industry, food and beverage producers, hospitality entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, exporters, distributors and other industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n
The participants deliberated on the expansion of bilateral trade between Nepal and India, enhancing market access and further strengthening the business partnership. <\/p>\n
