. Aryan Rai of the Labour and Culture Party demanded correction in the statement made by the Prime Minister from the parliament rostrum. <\/p>\n
He expressed his dissatisfaction saying that no response has been received even after a long time of demanding correction of the statement of the Prime Minister and removal from the record of the Parliament. <\/p>\n
Speaking in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, MP Rai said, “It has been around two months, a month has passed, the statement made by the Prime Minister should be corrected and it should be removed from the record of speaking in the rostrum.”<\/p>\n
It’s been so long that people used to say that stones don’t speak, that’s what happened now. “<\/p>\n
recalling the statement made by the Prime Minister on social media when he was the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the past, he said that the present situation has worried him. <\/p>\n
Stating that the Prime Minister had made a statement in the past that he would burn down Singha Durbar, he raised questions about the security of the country’s important structures and sovereign bodies.<\/p>\n
“It is not the intention of the Prime Minister, even if he says ‘mistake’ as to what he said when he goes to say ‘Baymistak’, he should come to this House and withdraw his statement,” Rai said. <\/p>\n
Lawmaker Rai also accused the incumbent government of not working for the welfare of the poor, helpless people, workers and small entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
Claiming that the government has been harsh on Pathao riders, squatters and working citizens, he urged to stop such acts. <\/p>\n
He also drew the attention of the government to the issue of thousands of employees who have been working as contractual and non-graded employees in various state bodies for a long time. Lawmaker Rai demanded the government to provide dearness allowance, social security fund and other facilities to contractual and temporary employees as per the Supreme Court’s order. He also accused the government of indulging in policy-level corruption by setting up companies at a time when the Supreme Court order had to be implemented.<\/p>\n
