Construction of bailey bridge at Nerghat of Mugu, freeing locals from risk of suspension bridge <\/strong><\/p>\n Mugu The construction of a bailey bridge at Nerghat of Soru Rural Municipality-5 in Mugu district has connected the Karnali corridor to the Karnali Corridor. <\/p>\n With this, the locals who have been commuting through tuins and suspension bridges for many years have been able to enjoy the facility of bailey bridge.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Due to which the local crops produced in the village will get a market and the income source will increase, the locals are also happy.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Nerghat Bailey Bridge Bridge was awarded by the Infrastructure Development Office, Mugu on June 19, 2081 at a cost of Rs 49.4 million. More than <\/p>\n 1500 people from nearby and fresh villages will now be able to commute daily through the bridge. <\/p>\n Earlier, when there was no bridge, a tuin of babio (grass) was used and then a suspension bridge was used. But now the Bailey Bridge has made it easier, according to the locals. “It has now become easier to move livestock from human beings,” said Shahi, a local.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to Dharma Bahadur Shahi, chairperson of Soru Rural Municipality, the bridge will not only help in getting a market but also improve the income of the locals. The construction of the bridge was delayed due to high water level in Humla Karnali River and increase in the price of oil in the international market.
