Koshi Hospital to protect the land by removing encroachments, now a wall will be built <\/strong><\/p>\n Biratnagar. The Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar, the second largest city of the country, has intensified its campaign to protect the encroached government land. As part of the campaign, the hospital is now preparing to construct a wall to protect the vacant land after the bulldozer was operated on the illegal structures constructed inside the hospital premises on Monday. <\/p>\n Medical Superintendent (Mesu) of the hospital, Dr.<\/p>\n Dr. Chandra Bhal Jha stressed the need to remove these structures for the implementation of the hospital’s long-term master plan and expansion of health services. The hospital owns more than five bighas of land there.\u00a0<\/p>\n In a conversation with Nepal News Bank, Dr.<\/p>\n Jha said that the hospital land would be secured by erecting a wall in the areas where encroachments have been removed. “We will cordon off the hospital land to protect it. After that, infrastructure development works will be carried out in a systematic manner as per the master plan,” he said. <\/p>\n According to him, the ministry and concerned ministers have also been actively assisting in the implementation of the expansion plan of the hospital.<\/p>\n The hospital plans to use the land for the expansion of specialist services, construction of new buildings and development of modern health infrastructures in the future. <\/p>\n Although most of the commercial shutters have been removed with the use of dozers, the main structures of the Nepal Tuberculosis Relief Society, the blood bank under the Nepal Red Cross Society, the Devkota Library and the Ganesh Temple have been kept intact for the time being.<\/p>\n Jha said. <\/p>\n According to him, some of these structures have not been removed immediately as they are directly connected to the emergency and essential services of the hospital.<\/p>\n However, in course of implementation of the hospital’s master plan, the hospital will eventually manage and relocate the infrastructures and vacate all the land of the hospital. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Koshi Hospital to protect the land by removing encroachments, now a wall will be built Biratnagar.
