Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Minister Gautam said that the annual work schedule with priorities for the bill for the coming fiscal year has been prepared and sent to the Federal Parliament after holding discussion with the ministries concerned as per the provision of the Legislation Act, 2081.&#8221;Clause <\/p>\n<p>3 of the Legislation Act, 2081 BS states that the concerned ministries should identify the bills to be formulated in the coming fiscal year and send them to the Ministry of Law within the month of Jeth every year,&#8221; she said. Based on the information received, a schedule with priority has been prepared for 166 bills to be presented to the Federal Parliament for the fiscal year 2083\u00f784 after holding discussion with the ministries concerned on July 9 and 25. The schedule has been sent to the Federal Parliament today itself and the list has been submitted to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Chairman of the National Assembly. According to Minister Gautam, out of 166 bills to be tabled in the parliament in the coming  fiscal year, 97 are related to new bills and 69 are related to amendment of existing laws. Of them, 64 are in first, 45 in second and 57 in third priority. <\/p>\n<p> He has been appointed 15 from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, 15 from the Ministry of Finance, 4 from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, 4 from the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, 17 from the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, 13 from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, 11 from the Ministry of Home Affairs, 4 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 16 from the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, 8 from the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minority and Social Security has seven bills, the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment 5, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation four, the Ministry of Education and Sports 9, the Ministry of Information and Communications six, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation 11 and the Ministry of Health and Food and Hygiene are in the process of preparation. <\/p>\n<p> &#8220;We have declared the fiscal year 2083\u00f784 as the Year of Law Reform and Construction to repeal, amend, codify and integrate existing laws and identify bills that need to be formulated new laws.&#8221; Preparations are underway to form a high-level law reform committee to review and reform the existing laws,&#8221; she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> Minister Gautam said that the bills which are not included in the schedule but necessary can be presented to the parliament as per the Legislation Act, 2081 BS.<\/p>\n<p>He also said that the priorities of the bill could be changed as per the need. <\/p>\n<p> She said that preparations are underway to bring the &#8216;Government Bill Tracking System&#8217; into operation to monitor the status of bill formulation on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>We are preparing to introduce the Government Bill Tracking System. Similarly, we are collecting suggestions from the general public and stakeholders through the &#8216;Know Your Law, Make Your Own Law&#8217; suggestion portal. So far, about 400 important suggestions have been received.
