The Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has sought an explanation from its employees for not approving leave for 60 days. <\/p>\n<p> The Ministry has issued a notice seeking clarification from 23 health service employees who were absent from their offices for 60 consecutive days without approving leave. According to the Ministry, all the employees should submit their explanation within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If there is a situation where he has been absent from his office for sixty (60) days without taking leave as per clause (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 74 of the Nepal Health Service Act, 2053, the said employees should not be removed from the service in accordance with clause (1) of clause (b) of Section 72 of the same Act. The concerned employees have been informed through this notice,&#8221; the notice reads. <\/p>\n<p> According to the Ministry, the action against those working at Kanti Children&#8217;s Hospital, Maharajgunj, National Tuberculosis Control Centre, Bhaktapur, Bir Hospital, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Teku and Ayurved Hospital Naradevi are under the purview of the action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>.
