Kathmandu.Various highways across the country have been affected due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfall and adverse weather. According to Nepal Police, three major roads are still obstructed until 7:00 am. <\/p>\n According to police, the Mechi Highway at Rajduwali of Ilam Municipality-9 has been completely obstructed due to muddy road.<\/p>\n Alternative roads can be used in the area. <\/p>\n Similarly, the Saljhandi-Dhorpatan road section at Panini Rural Municipality-2 of Arghakhanchi district has been completely closed due to landslides.<\/p>\n Similarly, the Araniko Highway at Jirokilo of Bhotekoshi rural municipality-4 in Sindhupalchowk district has been completely obstructed due to landslide. <\/p>\n The Kanti Highway at Ghattepakha of Bakaiya rural municipality-11 in Makwanpur district has come into operation from 6.2 <\/p>\n 0 am today. <\/p>\n Similarly, the Khurkot-Nepalthok-Katunjebesi road section of the BP Highway has been banned from 6:00 pm to 4:00 am in view of the rainy season.<\/p>\n Vehicles will be allowed to operate from 4:00 am to 6:00 pm. <\/p>\n Similarly, all types <\/p>\n of vehicles have been banned on the Kanti Highway in Makwanpur from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am. <\/p>\n The Nepal Police has urged the general public to take information about the road condition from the concerned body or traffic police before traveling, as the condition of the road can change at any time due to rainfall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Three highways of the country are still completely obstructed, vehicular movement halted at night along BP and Kanti Highway Kathmandu.Various highways across the country have been affected due to landslides triggered by incessant rainfall and adverse weather.
