Fiscal Year 2083. With the launch of 84 B. S., the company opened its Paicho Shop Pvt. Ltd. Ltd. It has been converted into ‘Paicho Shop Limited’ and formally operated as a public limited company. <\/p>\n
The company has started its business as per its new institutional structure after getting necessary legal approval from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and the Office of the Company Registrar.<\/p>\n
Established in 2071 BS, Paicho has been building a strong bridge of trust between Nepali farmers, local producers and consumers for the last 12 years. The company has established itself as a successful model of private sector in agriculture in Nepal by developing an integrated value chain from production to processing, packaging, branding, market management and distribution. <\/p>\n
With the transformation <\/strong> of the company into a public limited, the company will prioritize expansion of its capital base, strengthening corporate governance, investment in modern technology, production capacity enhancement and expansion of national and international market as new priorities.Mr. Dhruba Raj Neupane, Managing Director of Paicho Shop Limited, described this transformation of the company not only as a change in the legal structure but also as a historic achievement in building the future of Nepal’s agricultural enterprise. <\/p>\n “Pacho is not just a business, it is a shared campaign of the dreams of millions of farmers, consumer trust and our commitment to indigenous products,” he said.<\/p>\n With our transformation into a public limited, we now aim to make the public, investors and the entire Nepali community a companion in this journey. According to him, the future strategy of the budget will be focused to make Nepali agriculture products more competitive, quality and accessible to the world market. <\/p>\n IPO preparation in the final stage <\/strong><\/p>\n The company said that the initial public offering (IPO) preparation has also reached the final stage. NIC ASIA Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance. After completing the necessary regulatory process, the company will issue the shares to the public. <\/p>\n The campaign to make local products a national brand <\/strong><\/p>\n has been directly collaborating with farmers especially in the mountainous and hilly regions to make fresh agricultural products marketable through modern processing. <\/p>\n Currently, the company has been distributing more than 100 agricultural and food products including ketchup, jam, pickles, chickpeas, flour, millet flour, sinki, honey and more.<\/p>\n These products are being marketed through modern retail networks across Nepal and are expanding their presence in the international market as well. <\/p>\n Journey of prosperity with farmers<\/strong><\/p>\n With the belief that agriculture will prosper only when farmers are prosperous, and the nation’s economy can be strengthened sustainably only when agriculture is prosperous, Paicho Shop Limited has adopted a strategy to further expand its cooperation with millions of farmers in the coming years. <\/p>\n According to Neupane, the scattered agricultural produce collection centers will be further expanded, modernized and systematized.<\/p>\n This will lay the foundation for the farmers to easily access the fresh agricultural produce to the market. <\/p>\n The company plans to expand the network of ‘Fresh Vegetable Sales Store’ and strengthen the direct marketing of rural agricultural produce.
