. KATHMANDU \u2014 Other factions of the Nepali Congress (NC) have started the preliminary process for the national gathering from its liaison office in Chundevi. <\/p>\n
The leaders who were dissatisfied with President Gagan Thapa have started the process of fixing the date for the national gathering on the occasion of BP Memorial Day on July 20.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
In this connection, the Tarun Dal has organized a national gathering and interaction program to mark the BP Memorial Day on Saturday.<\/p>\n
NC leaders Guru Baral, Jitjung Basnet and Kundan Raj Kafle participated in the meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the meantime, the young leaders said that the establishment party has led the party towards split and weakened the role of the opposition.<\/p>\n

Nepali Congress leader Ratna Bahadur Maharjan has said that the situation in the party has been similar to that of ruling and opposition parties.<\/p>\n
Maharjan said that the discussion was held as a preparation for the gathering to be held on July 6 as the party’s activities were minimal. <\/p>\n
He said, “The party is in the position of ruling party and opposition. The party’s activity is very low. There is no activity that should have been done as usual. Therefore, we have discussed this for the gathering on July 6, after which the preparations for the national gathering will begin. Maharjan was of the view that although internal strife, competition and factionalism were natural in the party, it should not lead to party split.<\/p>\n
Similarly, Tarun Dal leader Dil Lama said that if Nepal Tarun Dal becomes weak, the state will be weak.<\/p>\n
He claimed that the incumbent government was becoming ineffective due to the weakness of the Nepali Congress.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“If the Tarun Dal is weak, the state will be weak,” he said. Now that the Nepali Congress is very weak, the arbitrariness of the government has increased. But now the Nepal Tarun Dal is wary of whatever the state is messing up. We will warn the Balen government once the Tarun Dal is on the streets. “<\/p>\n
He also said that the Tarun Dal would constantly alert the state against the shortcomings and irregularities in various sectors. He also informed that BP Memorial Day will be observed in a grand manner on July 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
