Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHSC) under the Federal Parliament has decided to hold the parliamentary hearing on July 26 and 29 regarding the recommendations of the candidates recommended for appointment to the post of Chief Election Commissioner and Election Commissioners. <\/p>\n
The meeting of the committee held on Tuesday discussed the issues of opening and distributing the complaints received about the proposed persons, studying the action plan submitted by them and determining the schedule for the hearing. In the meeting, Committee Chair Bodh Narayan Shrestha urged the members to study the complaints received by the members, present the complainants before the committee, invite the proposed candidates for discussion and prepare a schedule for the hearing of the Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commissioners.”As a conclusion of today’s meeting, we have decided to study the action plans, study the complaints and invite them for presentations, call two election commissioners on the 11th and the Chief Election Commissioner on the 13th,” he said.<\/p>\n
The hearing will begin at 11:15 a. m. The next meeting of the committee will be held at 11:15 am on July 26 and 29. “<\/p>\n
The committee has said that it will proceed with the parliamentary hearing process on the basis of the complaints received against the recommended candidates, their action plan and necessary discussions. <\/p>\n
