According to the 15th amendment to the Integrated Directive on Payment Systems, 2082 issued on Friday, Nepali citizens will now have to verify the details as per the electronic record of the national identity card while opening the wallet. The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made a provision to collect self-declaration regarding the national identity card from all wallet users by mid-October 2083 and the users who have already obtained the national identity card should update the national identity card number in their wallet within the same period. The existing <\/p>\n
system of allowing Nepalese living abroad to open wallets online will remain as it is. They have to update their national identity card details within six months of returning to Nepal. <\/p>\n
