Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML and the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have agreed to form governments in all seven provinces and forge alliances. <\/p>\n
As per the agreement reached on Saturday, the two parties have reached an agreement to expedite political stability, good governance, prosperity and provincial development by resolving the problems seen in the budget formulation in the province assembly in recent times, the situation of budget shortage and unhealthy political competition. The agreement paper reads, “We have reached an agreement to expedite the pace of political stability, good governance, prosperity and provincial development as per the people’s aspirations by resolving the misunderstandings, budget deficit and unhealthy political competition seen in the budget formulation in the province assemblies of late.”<\/p>\n

A joint government will be formed in joint collaboration with the Provincial Assemblies as per the agreement. As per the agreement, CPN-UML will lead Koshi, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces while the CPN (Maoist Center) will lead Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. <\/p>\n
Similarly, in Madhes Province and Gandaki Province, the form of leadership and participation of the government will be determined in consultation with other political parties representing in the Provincial Assembly.<\/p>\n
