Sarlahi police have arrested a person in possession of 330 kilograms of cannabis. The arrested is Amarjit Raut, 28, of Balara municipality-7, Dumariya. <\/p>\n<p> According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, a joint police team was mobilized from Madhubani police post Madhubani village and Area Police Office, Gadhiya after receiving a tip-off that marijuana was being loaded from a pickup vehicle at Bhola Singh&#8217;s poultry farm at Balara Municipality-7, Dumariya at around 1.15 pm on Saturday. A team led by Police Inspector Kailash Chaudhary recovered 330 kilograms of marijuana concealed in 19 packets, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Around 13 quintals of ginger in 26 sacks was also recovered from the same place. <\/p>\n<p> Police have also seized a Yodha pickup with registration number Ba.01-026 Cha 2886 used in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, further investigation into the drug charge is underway by taking the seized marijuana, pickup truck and Amarjeet Raut under control. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/arthakhabar. com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/photo-2_bf99649e-1024x768. jpg\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sarlahi.
