Speaking at a cadres meet organized in Dolakha on Sunday, Minister Lamsal said that the government has amended the Public Procurement Act and the legal and procedural problems related to the development works would be gradually resolved.<\/p>\n

Claiming that the amended Procurement Act would solve most of the problems seen in the development works, he warned that the contractors not carrying out the works would be blacklisted.<\/p>\n

‘The Procurement Act now solves most of the problems. It is now our job to correct the shortcomings of the past, we will keep those who do not work in the blacklist,” Minister Lamsal said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Although <\/p>\n
it was not possible to complete all the projects in a single fiscal year, he made it clear that the government would take continuous initiatives to resolve the problems related to development construction within the next five years. <\/p>\n
“Not all the projects will be finished this year, but we will try to solve all the problems as much as possible within five years,” he said. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
