. CPN-UML leader Thakur Gaire has expressed his displeasure over the delay in holding the party’s central committee meeting. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a program on ‘Role of Former ANNFSU in Party Transformation’, Gaire said that the central committee meeting has not been held so far after the election held on March 4. He commented that it was an irony for the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) that it could not even hold a meeting to review the elections.<\/p>\n
He said, “The election was held on March 21. Today we are on the 10th of July. The party has not been able to have a central committee like the UML. We have to sit in the meeting and review why we lost the election. But what could be more ironic in the life of the Communist Party?” <\/p>\n
Similarly, Gaire also criticized the working style of the current government.<\/p>\n
He accused the government of trying to prove that Nepal has encroached on Indian land on the issue related to the Nepal-India border. <\/p>\n
He also claimed that the government has not given a clear answer to the issue of Nepal’s encroachment of Indian land in the parliament.<\/p>\n
Raising the issue of education sector, Gaire gave the example of the resignation of the Education Minister due to the agitation in India. In Nepal, after the MBBS question paper leak incident, the Education Minister accused the government of trying to cover up the incident by forming a task force instead of resigning. He claimed that the government was trying to get away with the issue. <\/p>\n
He said, “The Education Minister had to resign due to the ongoing agitation in India. This is one of the demands of the education sector. In Nepal too, the question paper of MBBS has been leaked, instead of resigning, the Education Minister is trying to cover it up by forming a task force, the government is trying to escape. \u2019<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
