Mugu. Mugu, Aug 14: A sudden landslide occurred at Pulu Bazaar of Mugum Karmarong rural municipality-5 in Mugu district on Sunday night compelled the people to leave their houses. The market area has been deserted after the locals left their houses after a stone started falling from a hill near the rural municipality office at around 8.30 pm on Sunday. <\/p>\n
Mugum Karmarong rural municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer Subash Chand Rawal said the locals have been urged to stay in safer places keeping in mind possible risks following the start of the stone fall. <\/p>\n
A 3-year-old boy was killed and six houses were completely damaged in a landslide in the same area a few days ago.
