Progress of Ministry of Education Satisfactory, Emphasis on Result-Oriented Performance <\/strong><\/p>\n Kathmandu. The Ministry of Education and Sports has concluded the meeting of the Ministry-level Development Problems Resolution Committee and the fourth quarter and annual progress review meeting of the fiscal year 2082\/83.\u00a0<\/p>\n Concluding that the overall work progress of the Ministry was satisfactory, the meeting decided to give priority to result-oriented performance, improvement in service delivery and structural transformation of education sector in the coming year. The meeting reviewed the progress made by the ministries and its subordinate bodies, implementation status of development projects, service delivery, budget expenditure, grievance management and good governance.<\/p>\n The Ministry also reviewed the problems and challenges surfaced in course of the implementation and also reviewed the measures to resolve it and its priorities for the coming year. <\/p>\n Addressing the meeting, Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel directed the authorities concerned to effectively implement the ‘Sikai Chautari’ programme with high priority from the coming fiscal year.<\/p>\n He also stressed the need for effective implementation of new curriculum, development of result-oriented work culture and qualitative improvement in education system. <\/p>\n Member of the National Planning Commission, Reshu Aryal Dhungana, stressed the need to take effective initiatives to implement the draft of restructuring of higher education at the earliest, to make all programs result-oriented and to resolve the problems related to teachers.
