. The Communist Party of Nepal (majority) has decided to postpone the national conference scheduled to be held in August 21 from September 21 to 23. <\/p>\n
The decision was taken at the sixth plenary meeting of the party’s central committee held in Pokhara from July 30 to 16 under the chairmanship of party General Secretary Kanchan.<\/p>\n

Announcing the decisions of the meeting at a press conference on Friday, the meeting said that the meeting decided to develop ideology, politics and organization in a new way while reiterating its commitment to the scientific socialist revolution. The meeting began with paying tribute to the martyrs who lost their lives in the People’s War, People’s Movement and different movements, as well as to observe a minute’s silence in memory of the disappeared people and paying homage to the injured and disabled. The party has also decided to replace the existing leadership system with a presidium system.<\/p>\n
It has also been decided to conduct the meeting of the bureau committee and training programme from August 12 to September 10. <\/p>\n
The meeting also decided to adopt the policy of unity, polarization and cooperation with various revolutionary parties, organizations and individuals on the strategic and strategic fronts. Expressing dissatisfaction with the incumbent government, the meeting concluded that the government’s policies were against the landless squatters, farmers, workers, victims of financial exploitation, youths and students, good governance and national independence.<\/p>\n
The party has adopted the policy of waging a political struggle against such anti-people policies. <\/p>\n
The meeting also concluded that US imperialism is the main obstacle to world peace in the current world order.<\/p>\n
Referring to the international program held at the invitation of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the party reiterated its ideological commitment to Marxism-Leninism-Maoism. g. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
