Discussions were held on the issue of the entire health sector within the metropolis including the disabled-friendly bridge to be constructed in front of the mental hospital, Lagankhel. In a meeting held at the Ministry of Health and Food and Hygiene on Friday, the issue of bridge construction and expansion of overall health services was discussed. The meeting also discussed the issues of health equipment, infrastructure development and coordination and cooperation between the federal and local levels for improving the services of the government hospitals within the Lalitpur Metropolitan City.<\/p>\n
Minister Mehta said that the government has prioritized the improvement and expansion of health facilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On the occasion, Mayor Maharjan pledged to provide necessary support and coordination in improving the service and infrastructure development of the health institutions in the metropolis.<\/p>\n
