. BAJURA: This year’s Janai Purnima fair and puja will begin on August 17, the fifth day of Shravan Shukla Paksha. <\/p>\n
The main puja is performed on the day before Jan Purnima i. e. on the day of Shukla Chaturdashi.<\/p>\n
Netra Prasad Upadhyay, priest of the temple, said that although the main puja will be held on August 11, the Yagya will be established on the fifth day of Shravan Shukla Paksha in view of the crowd of devotees. <\/p>\n
Speaking at an all-party meeting held at the district headquarters Martadi on Friday, priest Upadhyay said that the puja started a few days ago would help the devotees to visit the goddess Badi Malika.<\/p>\n
It was concluded that the fair to be held at Budhinanda and Badi Nanda should be properly managed. <\/p>\n
Religious and touristic importance is located at an altitude of 4,21 <\/p>\n
9 meters above sea level. 22 Patan, Triveni and Nateshwari are known as the heritage sites of Badimalika.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Nepal Army has built the temple of Badi Malika Mata in the pagoda style at a cost of about Rs 20 million. <\/p>\n
Badimalika of Bajura is known as the heaven on earth.<\/p>\n
Worship is held every year on the occasion of Janai Purnima in Badi Malika, a heritage of religious faith. Last year, the main puja was held on August 7, but the puja was started from August 23. Devotees from different districts of the country as well as from neighboring country India come to visit Badi Malika Mata. <\/p>\n
Last year, around <\/p>\n
50,000 visitors visited the temple.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There is a tradition of government teams from Bajura, Doti and Jumla going here with worship materials.<\/p>\n
However, the attraction of tourists has increased in recent days as compared to before. The pagoda-style artistic temple is the main attraction.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This area has come into the limelight even after the current Prime Minister of Nepal Balen Shah addressed Badimalika as ‘Switzerland Bau’ during his election campaign in Dhangadhi.<\/p>\n
According to Nar Bahadur Rawal, a local guide Nar Bahadur Rawal, Badi Malika has become famous all over the world and has become a major tourist center. <\/p>\n
Endangered species of wild animals and birds (Danphe, Munal, Musk, Jharal, etc.) are also found here.<\/p>\n

There are religious beliefs that by visiting Badimalika Mata, the boon asked for will be obtained, the desires of the heart will be fulfilled, diseases and diseases will be removed, and those who do not have a son will get a son. There is a belief that the temple of Badimalika was established at Malla Giri Parbat (Badi Malika) of Bajura after the left shoulder of Sati Devi collapsed. <\/p>\n
Body series is very important in terms of natural beauty and religion. The natural beauty of the surroundings attracts tourists. Dressed in a veil of snow in winter and fog during the rainy season, Badi Malika is truly a wonderful gift of nature. <\/p>\n
