At least 15 people were injured when a tractor trailer carrying Bolbam pilgrims overturned in Siraha on Sunday morning. Among the injured, Anurag Mandal, 13, of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-15, Rampur Tole is said to be in critical condition. <\/p>\n
The accident took place in front of the gate of Phul Kumari Mahato School in Bandipur of Karjanha Municipality-2 on Monday.<\/p>\n
The pilgrims were travelling in a trailer (Ja 1 Ta 4808) en route to Mahendra Highway in Bandipur from Utarbahini. <\/p>\n
According to the police, the tractor overturned along with the trailer after it reached a height in front of the school gate. The injured have been identified as Krishna Mandal (1 <\/p>\n
7), Gangiya Mandal (40), Rahul Das (18), Prince Das (13), Gopal Yadav (18), Mona Kumari Mandal (33), Chandra Kumari Das (50), Ram Dulari Das (60), Ram Kumari Das (44), Pancha Mandal (17), Asis Kumar Yadav (17) and Biki Mandal (12). The deceased have been identified as Krishna Kumar Yadav and Bina Kumari Mandal, 13. <\/p>\n
The injured have been rushed to Phulkumari Mahato Memorial Hospital, Karjanha for treatment. The tractor involved in the accident is under the control of Area Police Office, Bandipur.<\/p>\n
Tractor driver Ram Bihari Mandal, 35, of Janakpur Sub-metropolis-15, Dhanusha, is absconding, police said. <\/p>\n
