Inaugurating the Nepal Mobility Expo-2026 in Nai on Tuesday, IGP Karki said that the safety of the citizens is also linked to the safety of vehicles. He said, “Attention should be paid to Nepal’s geography, road condition, engineering and psychology of the users while importing vehicles.”<\/p>\n
I have said this keeping in mind whether the passengers will be safe while importing such vehicles. “<\/p>\n
The safer every vehicle plying on the road, the more assured the citizens can be,” he said. <\/p>\n
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Karki said the Nepal Police was playing its role to make road safety more effective.<\/p>\n
He said that not only the negligence of the drivers but also the geography, vehicles and road engineering of Nepal are equally responsible. <\/p>\n
