The bodies of two children who went missing while bathing in the Lalbakaiya River in Rautahat district have been recovered. <\/p>\n<p> According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, Mohammad Rahmatullah, 10, and Sabnam Khatun, 10, of Dewahigonahi Municipality-2 were found dead.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> They had drowned while bathing in the river yesterday afternoon. However, the condition of Roshan Khatun, another girl who drowned in the river, is still unknown. The search for him has been intensified, police said. <\/p>\n<p> A team of local security agencies was deployed to rescue the children after receiving information that they had drowned in the river.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> A joint team comprising seven civil police personnel and 14 personnel from the Armed Police Force (APF) led by Inspector Tej Prasad Bhattarai of Area Police Office, Dewahi Gonahi has been carrying out the search operation.<\/p>\n<p><p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"718\" height=\"543\" src=\"https:\/\/arthakhabar. com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/photo-1_c4954347. jpeg\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rautahat.
