Phool Kumari Rajak tried to set herself on fire by pouring petrol on her body in front of the District Court in Janakpurdham on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The security personnel stopped him when he saw him pouring petrol. Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. Phool Kumari, 50, of Ward No. 4, had taken Rs 600,000 from Sahu Gopal Sah by mortgaging her 8 dhur land in 2081 BS. <\/p>\n
It is said that Sahu Gopal Sah did not return the money he had taken and demanded the return of his land.<\/p>\n
Victim Phool Kumari had filed a complaint after she came to know that Sahu Gopal Sah had taken loan by keeping the land in the bank. <\/p>\n
Police have arrested 53-year-old Gopal Sah, his wife Rekha Sah, 48, and their 32-year-old son Hareram Sah of Kapileshwor of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-16.<\/p>\n
More than a dozen cases of interest and fraud have been filed against the trio. <\/p>\n
Hundreds of victims have been staging a sit-in in front of the District Police Office, Dhanusha and the District Court, Dhanusha, since that day.<\/p>\n
They have demanded a high-level investigation by the CIB alleging that the three arrested are notorious meter fraudsters \u0964 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
