Kathmandu. President of the Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumers Welfare Committee, Rahbar Ansari urged the government and bodies concerned to chalk out short-term, mid-term and long-term plans to resolve the problems seen in supply of gas and food supplies. <\/p>\n
Speaking at a discussion on ‘Smooth Supply Management of Essential Daily Essentials’ organized by the Committee on Wednesday, Ansari stressed on the need of building a systematic supply system in the long term by immediately resolving the problems seen in the supply system. He urged the authorities concerned to take stern action against petrol pumps, tankers and gas dealers involved in black marketing of petroleum products.”It is necessary to move ahead by making short-term, mid-term and long-term plans to solve the current problems of gas and food supply,” he said.<\/p>\n
Along with solving the immediate problems, a long-term plan should be made so that such problems do not recur in the future. “Maximum action should be taken so that the license of petrol pumps, tankers and gas dealers can be scrapped for creating black marketing and artificial shortage,” Ansari said.<\/p>\n
Ansari said that there were signs of improvement in the market after the committee called the stakeholders related to the supply management and held discussions.<\/p>\n
He urged the bodies concerned to continuously monitor and take effective steps to ensure the smooth availability of essential goods to the consumers \u0964 <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
