Radheshyam Bishwakarma, Nepal News Bank<\/strong><\/p>\n Bhairahawa. GO Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of MG Motor India in Nepal, and E-drive Lumbini Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of electric vehicles in Nepal, have signed an agreement to buy 50 units of electric MG Windsor Commute.\u00a0<\/p>\n The two sides signed the agreement at a function in Bhairahawa on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n As per the agreement signed with the objective of expanding the use of electric vehicles in the commercial vehicle and travel service sector, 16 vehicles have been handed over in the first phase.<\/p>\n Aryaman Golchha, director of GO Automobiles, said that the rest of the vehicles will be delivered within the next one and half months. He said that GO Automobiles under the 102-year-old Golchha Organization has been working in the field of vehicles since 2009. According to him, GO Automobiles has introduced MG brand vehicles in Nepal this year in collaboration with JSW and MG.\u00a0<\/p>\n Mr. Prakash Shakya, Dealer In-charge & Overall Operations Head of GO Automobiles, said, “MG Windsor Commute has been specially launched as a commercial vehicle in Nepal.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n ‘It has been three to four months since we started importing vehicles in collaboration with MG. This is our first big transaction with E-drive Lumbini Nepal for 50 vehicles during this period,” said Shakya.\u00a0<\/p>\n He said that the necessary parts of the vehicle and after-sales service will be easily available as it is Indian production.<\/p>\n He said that there will be no problem in service and repair in Nepal as vehicle parts are easily available in different parts of India. According to Shakya, the vehicle comes with a three-year warranty or one hundred thousand kilometers.\u00a0<\/p>\n Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, President of E-Drive Lumbini Nepal, said, “With the arrival of MG Windsor Commute, it has been officially launched in Lumbini Province.<\/p>\n According to him, eDrive Lumbini has become the first large-scale buyer of MG Windsor Commute in Nepal.\u00a0<\/p>\n ‘The car is very spacious and comfortable. Since it is an Indian product, its spare parts and technical services are available quickly. There is also a facility to call technical manpower from India in a single day if needed,” Gupta said.\u00a0<\/p>\n E-Drive Lumbini, which has been providing online taxi and motorcycle travel service, has added more features and wide range of electric cars to its fleet.<\/p>\n In the first phase, 16 vehicles were handed over to various entrepreneurs.\u00a0<\/p>\n The MG <\/p>\n Windsor Commute is powered by a 100kW electric motor with 200Nm of torque. It is powered by a 38 kWh battery that can travel up to 330 km on a single charge.\u00a0<\/p>\n The vehicle has 135-degree reclining seats for the comfort of the passengers.<\/p>\n Dealer In-charge of GO Automobiles, Prakash Shakya, said that the battery can be charged at a faster speed and it will reduce the need to leave the vehicle idle for a long time for commercial use.\u00a0<\/p>\n The e-drive service system includes direct surveillance, emergency contact, and insurance facilities for the safety of passengers and drivers.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Agreement between GO Automobiles and E-Drive Lumbini Radheshyam Bishwakarma, Nepal News Bank Bhairahawa.
