Bajura. A landslide has taken place from above a house in Bajura due to incessant rains. Pratiksha Thapa, 20, daughter of Karna Bahadur Thapa of Triveni municipality-9 has gone missing in the landslide. <\/p>\n
Dharma Thapa and Dhauli Devi Rawal, 40, of the same locality, were injured in the incident.<\/p>\n
The houses of Dharma Thapa, 39, and Karna Bahadur Thapa, 43, of Tamsu were buried by the landslide, according to the District Police Office, Bajura.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Two members of the same house were injured when the landslide buried their house.<\/p>\n
Police Inspector and Information Officer at the District Police Office, Bajura, Naresh Bahadur Shahi, said that one person went missing in the incident. The injured have been sent to the district hospital for treatment. <\/p>\n
Following the incident, a 17-member police team under the command of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shaileshwari Bohara has been mobilized to the incident site with necessary rescue materials. Dharma Thapa has sustained injuries to his left leg and body.<\/p>\n
Dhauli Devi Rawal, 40, daughter of Damma Thapa, has sustained injuries on her head, body and right leg. <\/p>\n
Roads in Bajura have turned muddy due to incessant rains.<\/p>\n
Landslides at various places have added to the inconvenience in the movement. One hundred and fifty settlements in Bajura are at risk of flood and landslide. <\/p>\n

150 settlements including Budhi Ganga, Khaptad Chhededah, Triveni, Gaumul, Badimalika, Budhi Nanda, Swamikartik, Jagannath and Himali rural municipalities are at risk of flood and landslide. <\/p>\n
