. KATHMANDU: Dr Dhawal Shumsher Rana has registered a new political party, ‘Jaya Nepal Party’. On Friday, Rana had approached the Election Commission for registration of a new party. <\/p>\n
Talking to media persons after the registration of the party, Rana said that he would welcome Durga Prasain to join the party.<\/p>\n
He said that there will be a collaboration between Prasain and Prasain later. <\/p>\n
‘We are waiting for Durga Prasain. If he comes, he is welcome. Now the Jaya Nepal Party has been registered. Durga is not Prasainji. He has said we will meet later,” Rana said. <\/p>\n
According to Rana, the Jaya Nepal Party has got a triangle as its election symbol.<\/p>\n
He said the triangle has been defined as mountain, hill and terai as well as Sanatan religion, monarchy and democracy. The party’s flag will be white with a red triangle. <\/p>\n
Rana said that the party has been registered targeting the upcoming local level elections.<\/p>\n
According to him, the Jaya Nepal Party is preparing to participate in all the local level elections across the country. <\/p>\n
‘We have registered the party to prepare for the local level elections. We will participate in all the local level elections,” he said. <\/p>\n
He also appealed to the Nepali citizens willing to serve in the local level and work honestly to apply to participate in the election from the Jaya Nepal Party.<\/p>\n
