According to Raj Kumar Dulal, executive director of the Expo, there was a shortage of space in the Bhrikutimandap area and both floors of Nepal Police Club for parking in the first days of the expo.<\/p>\n
He said that additional parking has been arranged for Saturday and Sunday in view of this. <\/p>\n
According to Shreejal Bhattarai, managing director of Media Space Solutions, the managing partner of the expo, there is a queue of visitors at the entrance of the expo from 10 am. According to the organizers, 29,<\/p>\n
000 visitors came on the first day, 26,000 on the second day, 22,000 on the third day and 31,000 on the fourth day. Around one and a half lakh visitors are expected during the expo. <\/p>\n
52 new models unveiled <\/p>\n
So far, 52 new models have been unveiled by various brands at the expo. More than 55 brands of vehicles are on display. <\/p>\n
Electric cars, e-scooters and electric commercial vehicles have attracted visitors.<\/p>\n
According to the organizers, youths are also interested in two-wheelers. <\/p>\n
Observers are more interested in the vehicle’s battery capacity, motor, range, after-sales service, battery warranty and guarantee, and resale value. To attract customers, the companies have provided discount on price, one year insurance, one year vehicle tax, free servicing and loans at concessional interest rates.<\/p>\n
Banks and financial institutions and insurance companies are also offering special offers and concessional loans for the purchase of vehicles. <\/p>\n
Discussion on Battery Recycling and Ethanol Blending <\/p>\n
Under the ‘Naima Mobility Dialogue’ on Friday, the topic of ‘Battery Recycling and Ethanol Blending was discussed’. <\/p>\n
The expo, which aims to promote sustainable, green and technology-friendly transportation system in Nepal, will run till August 14.<\/p>\n
