The Pathivara Area Development Committee has decided to deposit Rs 10 lakh in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund for the rescue and relief of the families affected by the floods in Bhotekoshi. The committee has also decided to formulate and implement working procedures related to the rescue and relief assistance to the people affected during the disaster. Similarly, Aathrai Triveni Rural Municipality of Taplejung has donated Rs 651,764 to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Fund for the rescue and relief of flood-affected people in Rasuwa and Bhotekoshi areas. The 68th executive meeting of the rural municipality has decided to collect 15 days of service and allowances of the people’s representatives and deposit 10 percent of their basic salary to the disaster management fund. According to the rural municipality chairperson Dipendra Pomu (Dipen), Rs 100,<\/p>\n
000 has been deposited in the disaster management fund of the rural municipality and Rs 177,457 for 15 days of service and allowances of 28 people’s representatives of the rural municipality. <\/p>\n
Similarly, 102 employees of the rural municipality have contributed Rs 651,<\/p>\n
