Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has met the family members of the civil servants who have gone out of contact with the Chilime Hydropower Project and said that the government is with them in this hour of grief. <\/p>\n
In a meeting with the family members, Minister Shrestha said that the pain of not getting any information about the condition of the relatives for a week is very deep and it cannot be expressed in words. He said that the government is equally hurt due to the lack of information about the condition of the incommunicado citizens and civil servants. <\/p>\n
‘Every life is precious. The state should not leave any stone unturned in search of a single life and it will not leave any stone unturned,” Minister Shrestha said. <\/p>\n
He informed that all the state mechanisms, skilled manpower, technology and available resources have been mobilized for the search and rescue efforts. Minister Shrestha said that there was no dearth of technology, skilled manpower and resources in the rescue efforts. Stating that the government is continuing the search and rescue even in difficult circumstances, he urged the family members not to lose patience. “We will continue to try till the last possibility. It is not yet time to give up hope. Let us try and pray together, let us keep hope alive,” he said. Minister Shrestha said that the government is with the families of its citizens and civil servants, pledging not to let their families feel lonely in this difficult time. <\/p>\n
