Kathmandu. GEMS School of Nepal and two prestigious schools of Japan, Asahijuku Secondary School and Kashima Gakuen High School have signed an agreement for educational cooperation. <\/p>\n
GEMS School signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the two schools on Wednesday in the presence of a delegation including the president and vice-president of the Japanese school. <\/p>\n
Under the partnership, cooperation will be done in the areas of educational and cultural exchange, capacity building of students and teachers, sports and extracurricular activities. It is expected that students and teachers of both countries will get an opportunity to understand each other’s culture, educational practices and experiences. Rajesh Khadka, founder president of GEMS School, briefed about the school’s establishment and development journey and stressed the importance of international experience and intercultural learning in the development of the younger generation. Mr. Shinichi Omori, Chairman of JPMC, expressed his happiness for the partnership with GEMS School and expressed his confidence that this partnership will create new opportunities for students and teachers in Nepal and Japan.
