Kathmandu. Chairman of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, Kulman Ghising, met Prime Minister Balendra Shah. Talking to media persons after the meeting on Thursday, Chairman Ghising said that his party has given written and verbal suggestions regarding the situation after the Rasuwa floods, rescue and relief. <\/p>\n
He said, “We had a field visit with the Prime Minister about the situation of the disaster and we had a meeting to give suggestions on what we have seen, understood and should be done. We have also given some suggestions in writing. We have also given suggestions verbally. We have given suggestions for the rescue in a holistic way. He was curious about how to rescue the friends trapped in the tunnel. In this regard, we have put forth what we have understood and should do. He has also said that we will move forward even if we have to do whatever we can. \u2019<\/p>\n
He also said that there is no need for any special technology for rescue and relief. He said that the rescue work can be carried out only by mobilizing simple equipment and skilled rescue teams. <\/p>\n
The main challenge in carrying out the rescue operation is to transport heavy equipment including JCB, excavator and drilling machine to the site, Ghising said. <\/p>\n
“No special technology is required, the work can be done with simple equipment and skilled rescue team,” he said, “The main problem is to transport heavy equipment like JCB, excavator and drilling machine to the incident site.” \u2019<\/p>\n
