Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Yadav has urged hoteliers to cooperate with the government to resolve the problem of gas supply. <\/p>\n
Minister <\/p>\n
Yadav urged the hotel entrepreneurs to put consumers in first priority after gas supply in most of the districts including the Kathmandu Valley was affected by floods in the last few days. <\/p>\n
Minister Yadav also urged the hoteliers to import the required gas themselves in case the import and transportation of gas has been affected due to the obstruction of the road due to the flooding in Krishnabhir. She said that the government is ready to provide necessary security and other facilities for this. Minister Yadav said that the Ministry and Nepal Oil Corporation have already started work to arrange separate cylinders for hotel business and for domestic purposes. She also proposed to make the gas cylinders used for commercial purposes in hotels bigger.<\/p>\n
She clarified that the government has no intention of shutting down the hotel business and said that hoteliers have an important role to play in making the country’s economy and tourism sector dynamic. She said that in the current situation, all sides should cooperate to ease the gas supply by giving first priority to the consumers. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
