Kathmandu. Two people rescued alive from the tunnel of Trishuli-3 ‘A’ Hydropower Project are undergoing treatment at Chhauni Hospital in Kathmandu. <\/p>\n
Sanjay Sah and Kabir Maharjan, who were rescued alive from the tunnel on Friday morning, are undergoing treatment at Chhauni Hospital. Neel Kumari Maharjan, mother-in-law of Kabir Maharjan, said that the hope of reviving Maharjan alive after eight to <\/p>\n
nine days has faded. <\/p>\n
Talking to Nepal News Bank, she said, “The tunnel is big, but if they go inside to save their lives, they were hopeful that they would be safe.” But after eight or nine days, the hope was slowly dying. “<\/p>\n
But on Wednesday morning, she said that there was happiness in the family after getting the news of Kabir’s safe rescue. <\/p>\n
She said, “We were very happy to get the news of his safe rescue. He was reborn. It should be said that he was reborn from the womb of Mother Earth.” Thanking the Nepal Army for the rescue of Kabir, she wished for the safe rescue of other people still inside the tunnel. <\/p>\n
“On behalf of all the victims, we would like to thank the Nepal Army for the rescue. May many others inside be rescued safely,” she said. <\/p>\n
Kabir’s health condition is now out of danger, she said.<\/p>\n
According to him, the situation is not serious due to lack of food, stress and anxiety due to staying inside the tunnel for a long time. <\/p>\n
She said, “It is not very serious. It is not normal due to many days, no food, and anxiety. But it cannot be said to be serious. There is no danger now, he is free from danger.” She said that the family has come to know about the rescue of Kabir alive through the media and social media. <\/p>\n
She also said that she took Kabir’s salvation on Krishna Janmashtami as a blessing from God. <\/p>\n
