Kathmandu. Minister for Information and Communications Dr. Bikram Timilsina has met with the patients who were injured in the Rasuwa floods. <\/p>\n
Minister Timilsina reached the Maharajgunj-based Teaching Hospital on Friday and inquired about the health condition of the injured. Talking to media persons after inquiring about the health condition of the injured, Minister Timilsina said that the floods have caused a big loss in different areas from Timure to Devighat of Rasuwa. <\/p>\n
He said, “We met with people who were injured in the floods and were being treated. They were injured in the floods while living in different places from Timure to Devighat below. Every day when we talk about floods and wherever we go, we feel that it is an unimaginable catastrophe. So, I feel very sad. Minister Timilsina said that although it is a positive aspect that the injured are being rescued and treated, the news of their families, relatives and villagers missing or dying in the floods is very sad. <\/p>\n
‘After seeing their condition and listening to them, the positive thing is that they have been rescued and are getting treatment. But sadly, many people living with them, family, relatives, villagers and relatives have been swept away by the floods. It’s very sad,” he said. <\/p>\n
He also took detailed information from doctors and health workers about the treatment status of the injured, the health services provided by the hospital and the problems seen in course of treatment. <\/p>\n
