Satpalji Maharaj donates Rs 10 lakh to Bhotekoshi flood victims <\/strong><\/p>\n
Kathmandu. Satpalji Maharaj, the pioneer of human religion and Tourism Minister of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, has donated Rs 10 lakh for the rescue and relief of the Nepali people affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.<\/p>\n Expressing deep sorrow over the devastating flood in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa district on August 23, he pledged to stand in favour of Nepal and Nepali people through social media. He also made it clear that the entire Uttarakhand and the Government of India are ready to provide all the assistance required by Nepal in this hour of grief and appealed to everyone to remain patient and express solidarity with the victims. Earlier, a condolence meeting was also held in the memory of the victims of the floods in the special presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Converting this solidarity into practice, Minister Satpalji Maharaj reached the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi today. He met the Acting Ambassador of the Embassy Dr. Surendra Thapa and handed over the assistance amount of Rs 10 lakh to be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
