Mahottari. As the Government of Nepal observes a day of mourning across the country, Matihani Municipality has paid tribute to the people who lost their lives in the unimaginable flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa. <\/p>\n
At the call of Matihani Municipality, the municipality observed a minute’s silence at 11:00 am on Monday and paid tribute to the departed souls and wished for eternal peace to the departed souls. As per the call of the municipality, the citizens and employees at various places including government offices, schools, madrasas, public places in the municipality observed a minute’s silence. <\/p>\n
On the occasion, tributes were expressed to the people who lost their lives in the floods and condolences to the bereaved family members. <\/p>\n
Mayor Hari Prasad Mandal said that the government offices, schools, madrassas and other public places were halted for a minute. <\/p>\n
Also, the national flag was flown at half-mast in all government offices within the municipality. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
