NVL: Annapurna gets second success<\/strong><\/p>\n Kathmandu. Annapurna Spiker Kings registered a win in the Extreme Energy Drink Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) on Monday. <\/p>\n Annapurna defeated Madhes Warriors 25-16, 31-29, 25-22, 25-21 in the tournament organized by Kedia Group and the main sponsor of Extreme Energy Drink. <\/p>\n Annapurna’s Uranbayor was declared the ‘Man of the Match’. He was named ‘Man of the Match’ for the second time in a row. He was also named ‘Man of the Match’ against Kathmandu Reds. <\/p>\n This is Annapurna’s second win in 3 matches. In their second match, Annapurna defeated Kathmandu Reds in straight sets 3-0. In the first match, Annapurna had lost to Karnali Shivaraj 3-1. <\/p>\n Madhes is winless so far. Madhes has also played 3 matches. Madhes had lost 3-1 to Sagarmatha Smashers and 3-2 to Kathmandu Reds in the first match. Karnali won 3-2 in the match between the two undefeated teams, Karnali Shivaraj and Sagarmatha Smashers. Karnali won the third match in a row with 25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25 and 15-9. Karnali’s marquee player Pahal Gahatraj was named the ‘Man of the Match’.<\/p>\n Before this match, Sagarmatha was also undefeated. Both teams have played 3-3 matches each. <\/p>\n A total of 6 men’s teams are participating in the tournament organized by Kedia Group with the support of Nepal Volleyball Association. The participating teams will play on the basis of the single round robin league first.<\/p>\n The top team in the league will enter the final. The top two and third place teams will play the playoffs for a place in the final. <\/p>\n The total prize money of the Nepal <\/p>\n Volleyball League is Rs 32 lakh. This award is the highest ever in the history of Nepali volleyball.
