Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balen Shah will take charge of the Home Ministry. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has said that after the resignation of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, the responsibility of the Home Minister has been given by the Prime Minister.
He was dragged into controversy after the fact that he had a nexus with controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt came to light. After this, he met the Prime Minister on Wednesday and submitted his resignation demanding an impartial investigation against him.
A few days ago, when questions were being raised about the fact that his property details were unusual, he was under pressure from all sides to resign after the details of another investment he had made in micro insurance and other sectors were also revealed. Under that pressure, Gurung resigned from the post.
