Kathmandu. Minister for Health and Population Nisha Mehta has directed the Ministry to investigate the issue of fuel misuse and take action against those responsible. After it came to light that the employees were taking fuel even in the name of vehicles burnt during the ‘Genji’ agitation, Minister Mehta directed the Administrative Secretary of the Ministry Dilliram Sharma to investigate into the matter.
A total of 24 vehicles, including 18 from the Ministry of Health and six from other bodies of the ministry, were torched in the agitation.
Minister Mehta took strict action after it was found that the employees were taking fuel facilities by showing the details of the vehicles that were completely damaged and were in use.
