Minister Sita Badi declares she won’t compromise on nepotism, corruption

Kathmandu. Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens, Sita Badi, has made it clear that the government would not indulge in nepotism, gossip, corruption and any illegal activities. In a Facebook post, Minister Badi said it has been almost five weeks since he assumed the public responsibility carrying the hope and confidence of the people.

She has made it clear that she will not get jobs on the basis of kinship, relationship or acquaintance, and make appointments and transfers and promotions based on selfish motives.

She also said she would not engage in acts of lawlessness, abuse of power, protecting people who violate the law or protecting wrongdoers from prosecution.

He pledged not to protect people involved in crimes such as drugs, cheating, forgery, beating, smuggling and would not indulge in commission, bribery or corruption under any pretext.

“We will always fight against violence and injustice against women, Dalits, children, senior citizens, sexual and gender minorities, persons with disabilities and other marginalized communities,” she said.

“We will not misuse any of the resources of the state, we will not accept the recommendations or suggestions of expeditious government services and we will not take unnecessary facilities – quarters, house rent or diplomatic passport in the name of ministerial facilities,” she said.

“I will not be pressured or influenced on the basis of my vote, I will serve all citizens equally,” she wrote.

Pledging to stand by the citizens in times of sorrow, crisis or crisis, President Bhandari has said that good governance was not only possible through the policies of the government but also through the conscious and collective efforts of the citizens.

“Let’s respect the rule, not the relationship, support justice instead of pressure, give priority to the interest of the society rather than personal interest,” she said.
